MARK A. GALINOVSKY

MARK A. GALINOVSKY is a composer, music director, accompanist, arranger, and vocal coach. This is his seventh summer at Piper Theatre and he is thrilled to be showcasing original work at the Old Stone House. Broadway: Mean Girls, Kristin Chenoweth: For the Girls. Off-Broadway: Cyrano (The New Group), The Lightning Thief (Theatreworks), The Extraordinary Fall of the Four-Legged Woman (Fringe Encores/Soho Playhouse). Other favorite credits include The Producers and Hair (Forestburgh Playhouse), Wendy Darling & Peter Pan and Sweeney Todd (Piper Theatre). Organizations he has worked with include Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, Broadway Youth Ensemble, Davenport Theatrical, Village Light Opera Group, New York Musical Festival, The Secret Theatre, and Untitled Theatre #61. Mark has a BM in Piano Performance from NYU Steinhardt and an MFA in Music Direction from Penn State University.


She Said

I was raped in New York City during my final week of college in 2013. This moment marked a rupture in my childhood freedom and forced the beginning of my autonomy as an adult.
