Madeline Wall

(She/Her or They/Them) received their BFA in Film and Television from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Since moving to New York, they have worked for ABC, NBC, Showtime, Netflix, Columbia University and NYU. They have directed work at The Clemente, SoHo Playhouse, and the Flea Theatre as well as through Musical Theatre Factory, and the producing company, Experimental Bitch Presents. Their work as a filmmaker has been featured in The Seattle International Film Festival, First Run Festival, and The Student Academy Awards, as well as winning then multiple awards for production design and editing. They were a part of the costume team for Netflix’s Russian Doll which won the 2019 Emmy for Outstanding Costume Design.


She Said

I was raped in New York City during my final week of college in 2013. This moment marked a rupture in my childhood freedom and forced the beginning of my autonomy as an adult.
